Aarohi's POV :
The next morning everyone was already ready to go to Ratanwas when I came downstairs.
We had our breakfast and started our journey to the village.
I was wearing a saree with the rest of the females while Kashvi was wearing a suit. She didn't want to go there but it was her bhai and bhabhi's coronation ceremony so she can't miss it.
Vayansh told me if I felt uncomfortable for a second then I would tell him immediately and we would go back but I reassured him that I would be fine.
After the drive of at least 2 hours we reached Ratanwas. As the car came to the halt I saw many people already outside waiting for us.
Vayansh turned to me and puts my pallu over my head slightly covering my face.
Even though I could barely see through it but I didn't complain and saw Vayansh moved out of the car.
To my surprise as Vayansh stepped out I heard people shouting his title name.. kuwar sa. It really looks like he is a king here who just came back after winning a war.
He opened my side of the door and gave me his hand which I grabbed gracefully and moved out to see so many people out there trying to get a glimpse of us from between the crowd.
My face was veiled so I could not see clearly but I was able to make out a few people standing in front of us at the threshold of a huge haweli.
Is this where we are going to stay?
We stepped forward with Vayansh's hand on my back to guide me forward and touched the feets of the elders who blessed us.
An elder man said "Welcome kuwar sa, You are finally here. We were waiting for this moment since so long."
He simply nodded and said "Let's go inside."
They showed us inside and some female performed our Aarti then walked us to our room to rest and informed us that the dinner will soon be ready to serve.
As I and Vayansh walked to our room I immediately removed the veil from my face and sighed in relief.
Vayansh chuckled and I glared at him in response.
"Are you uncomfortable, My sweet?"
He walked towards me and tucked my hair back and kissed my forehead.
"It's fine I just feel like I walked back into time." I said while giggling a little.
Even though I know these things are normal in many areas but I also mean that this village also gives old vibes.
He said seriously this time "Listen sweatheart you won't wander around alone here, Ok? Stay with anyone in the family all the time."
I sighed and said "Yes Ansh, I know. You have told this to me more than ten times."
"I just wants you to understand this and not defy me in this." He said.
I nodded and to lighter the mood I said "Well you were looking like a perfect king just now out there."
His face softened as he replied "With my perfect Queen."
His hands slowly travelled to my naked waist and I gasped at the sudden contact.
He moved closer to me and I closed my eyes waiting for him to kiss me and as I felt his lips grazing mine my soul egnite with energy but it was short lived as we heard a sudden knock on our door.
I immediately pulled away from him and adjusted my saree before covering my face with the veil.
Vayansh sighed in frustration and annoyingly ordered "Come in"
A female came in and bowed before saying "The dinner is ready kuwar sa."
He nodded at her and she immediately left.
Vayansh came towards me without sparing a moment and pulled me in a deep soul bounding kiss.
I chuckled and tried to say "We have to go."
He pulled away and lead me out towards the dining hall.
But to my confusion we didn't went to the same direction instead a female came and lead me towards the other direction and Vayansh looked at me last time before going ahead making me confusedly walk.
I saw Kashvi coming behind me and she came towards me when she saw me.
I smiled at her and we both went to the dining area but I only saw females here so I confusedly asked kashvi "Where are others?"
She rolled her eyes as if showing her dislike and explained "As per the old tradition here females eats after males but because the females are of royal family so they can eat with males but separately so here we are. The males are in the area just aside from here."
I frowned wanting to argue but with whom? I don't know.
I still said "But it's wrong."
She sighed and said "I know bhabhi."
Before I could say anything else mumma came towards me and said "Come Aarohi, Meet others."
I nodded and walked with her and she introduced me to others and I touched the feets of the elders and after that the dinner was served.
I noticed that all the ladies were talking in a low voice so their voices won't reach the other side of the wall.
After the dinner was finished I sighed in relief because this environment was suffocating me seeing so young girls being married off and women talking lowly.
I already hate these type of things and here it's just too much and that must be why Vayansh didn't wanted me to come here.

The next day I was looking around the haweli as I haven't had the chance to look around the whole haweli yet so I took this moment and decided to take a tour of the haweli.
I already had my breakfast and Vayansh went to the tour of the village with the sarpanch of the village and a few other men.
Even though he told me to not go anywhere alone specially today as there are many guests coming up for the ceremony which will take place in a few hours to declare Vayansh and me as the king and queen of Jaisalmer.
I wanted to listen to him and not go anywhere alone but I couldn't find myself to bother others at such a peak time where almost everyone is busy in decoration and preparation of the ceremony so I wandered off myself to look around the haweli.
Also it's not like I am going somewhere far away. I will just look around than go back to my room to get ready.
I looked at the various rooms and halls as the haweli is so huge. After wandering around inside the haweli I went towards the garden attached to it.
It was so beautiful out here and I saw a guest house just adjacent to the haweli where the guests are residing who have came here for the ceremony.
I wanted to go there too but didn't as I will be late to get ready so I turned back to go inside again but a voice stopped me "Excuse me."
I turned and saw a man standing in front of me.
I asked "Yes?"
He introduced himself "I am Daksh Pratap Singh, king of Surajgarh."
He forwarded his hand for a hand shake and I hesitantly took it not wanting to sound rude.
I replied "Ah.. It's nice to meet you, I am Aarohi.. Aarohi Singh Rathore."
I took my hand back as soon as I shook his and he seems to notice it to which he smirked.
I am not getting a good vibe from him.
He said "Oh.. Aarohi Singh Rathore, You don't have to introduce yourself as we all have came here for you only. I mean for your coronation ceremony, right?"
When I didn't reply he continued "Don't worry I am a friend of your husband."
I felt a little better that atleast he is a friend of Ansh but I still said "I have to go back now, I will see you at the ceremony."
I was about to go back but he again stopped me saying "I wonder why you choose to marry him?"
I said feeling offended now "Excuse me?"
He chuckled and said "Relax sweatheart, I was just saying you know how he is still you decided to marry him?"
I immediately defendes Ansh "First of all Don't call me that and secondly I know how my husband is and that's why I married him."
I said that especially emphasizing on a few words to let him clear that I will not hear any disrespectful words towards my husband.
He again chuckled than asked "You think you know him? You are really living in a delusion."
I angrily looked at his smirking face so badly wanting to wipe this smirk of his from his face.
I spit angrily "I know him better than you so excuse me from your bullshit."
He said "Do you really know how monsterous he is?"
I said in my final voice "If you think I will stand here and listen to you talking bad about my husband then you are totally wrong!"
I was about to go back when he said "If you don't believe me then just ask him yourself. Ask him who the devil is? Or maybe..... about Nexus?"
I frowned in confusion, that is the name me and Varun used to call him often but it was always in fun.
Before I could give him my piece of brain I saw a back covering me behind them and I instantly knew it was Vayansh.
Thank God he came on time! That man was eating my mind up.
I heard Vayansh said through his teeth "What are you doing here Daksh? Leave."
I sense a kind of anger in his tone as his tone was so dangerous that I felt scared myself for a second.
I saw Daksh's smirk vanished and he said "I was just having an introduction with your beautiful wife, Vayansh."
I felt kind of creepy vibes the way he called me beautiful and I think Ansh sensed it because he stepped closer to Daksh and mumbled something in a low and threatening voice that I couldn't hear what he said but it was something powerful enough to make Daksh back up and go away from there.
I was glad he left us alone now and I was about to thank Ansh for coming here on time but my lips stopped moving when Ansh turned towards me angrily and grabbed my left arm in a grip and said "Why were you talking to him?"
I hissed in pain at his grip and realising that he is gripping my arm a little too hard he loosened his grip but didn't leave my arm.
I put my hand on his hand which was grabbing on my arm and said "What are you-"
He cut me off by shouting angrily "I AM ASKING YOU SOMETHING AAROHI?"
