Aarohi's POV :
I woke up in the morning and felt something hard under my hand. Even though it was hard but it was so warm and comfortable that I snuggle more into it.
But... How did the pillow turned so hard overnight?
I opened my eyes and saw my hand on Vayansh's chest and his arm wrapped around me in a possessive grip.
My face turned red and I was freaking out in my mind.
I find myself observing his face and I noticed how calm he looks while sleeping. His eyebrows rest calmly and his features were silent making him look godly handsome.
Oh God! How is my husband so handsome? My husband.
I snapped back in reality when I heard "For how long will you stare at me like this?"
My eyes widened and I pulled away from him but he grabbed my waist making me fall on his chest.
He opened his eyes and I asked nervously "W..were you awake the whole time?"
He said in his sleepy deep voice "Yes, wifey. You know, you can also touch me if you want after all I am all yours."
I blushed and felt something weird in my body. Oh God! His voice is such a great turn on!
I changed the topic by asking "You slept soundly at night?"
He looked relaxed now and I think its the effect of the sleep he had at the night.
He works so hard but really doesn't care about his health when it comes to sleep precisely.
His hand moved to push away a strand behind my ear and he replied "Why won't I sleep soundly when I sleep with my wife? You know because of you I missed my gym today and it's the first time something like that happened."
I was not surprised that he goes to gym daily as it could be seen by looking at his perfectly built physique. I looked at him with an accusing gaze and asked "How I played any role in it?"
He pulled me a little more closer if that's possible and answered me "You are such a distraction to me. A beautiful distraction."
I was screaming in my mind hearing him. Did he just call me....... A distraction?
I felt like my heart would explode and I know he heard it too because he smirked so I quickly pulled away from him and ran to the bathroom.
As I closed the door I heard him chuckled and rest my back on the door. I put my hand on my chest and feel my fastened heartbeat.
I have never felt anything like this before which made me smile.
I freshened up quickly and thankfully when I came back to the room he was already gone so I quickly dried my hair and adjusted my saree and walked downstairs to help with the breakfast.
I helped the staff with making the breakfast and God knows why they are so formal but I am glad they have warmed up with me because initially they would act like I was a ticking bomb.
When I asked them about it they said it was because that devil has warned them.
He scares everyone.
After a while everyone came to have their breakfast and I was about to serve when mumma said "It's ok Aarohi. You have made the breakfast so I will serve. Go and sit down."
I tried to refuse and argue but she didn't let me so I silently sat beside Vayansh who was talking to Advik about some business.
Mumma was serving everyone but when she moved towards Vayansh, he showed his hand to stop her making me frown.
He took the bowl from her hand and served me first than himself. I looked at mumma and she faked a smile and went to her seat to sit.
This devil! How could he do this? Doesn't he care how mumma would feel when he constantly push her away?
I looked at papa and he too had a gloomy face as if he is guilty of something. He looked at mumma and encouraged her with a smile.
I swear I will make him closer to mumma and papa.
Mission Cracking the nut starts from today!
I will crack his hard nut and he will talk to everyone again.
He only talks to Advik and sometimes to Chachi. He don't even talk to Arnit and Kashvi much but I know he cares about them. He cares about everyone, he just has to admit it.
I was thinking about plans to accomplish my mission when I heard Advik say "I think we should now disclose about your marriage to the media bhai. They will get to know eventually."
Chachaji agreed "Yes Vayansh. We don't want any rumours to get spread."
Advik continued "Yes, Every media channel is covering this news and there are rumours spreading like you and Vanya are soon going to get married."
My inside twisted when I heard the name Vanya. I still remembered how I got to know about his marriage with Vanya but I never expected that I would be the one to marry him in the end.
I looked up when Vayansh said "We will schedule a press conference and declare about my wedding but Aarohi's name won't be disclosed yet."
I should be happy that he said that and don't get me wrong I am happy because I am not ready for so much attention and questions coming my way. Also my parents could watch the conference too so it's too risky.
We.... also had our two months deal.
But I don't know why but somewhere I am disappointed. Is he..... ashamed of me? Don't he wants me to be seen as his wife?
But all my questions disappeared when he said "As much as I want to show the world that Aarohi is my wife I can't risk her safety. She needs to be prepared for that first. She has never been in much lime light."
I couldn't hear anything else as only few words of his were running into my mind 'As much as I want to show the world that Aarohi is my wife'
He wants everyone to know I am his wife. I felt millions of butterflies in my stomach.
I looked ahead and saw everyone agreed to what Vayansh said and Mumma excited said "We can also held a grant reception for you both later."
I looked at Vayansh but he didn't react to her words but I will make him recognise her. I will make sure he knows she is here too.
I said while grinning "Oh! I love the idea, mumma. Vayansh loved it too, right Vayansh?"
I looked at him and blinked innocently. I know he can't ignore me so he hummed while eating his breakfast making my grin to widened and I saw mumma smiled.
Vayansh looked at my still full plate so he eyed me to convey that he wants the plate empty making me roll my eyes and to eat the breakfast.
Even though I love food but I can't have breakfast as I am not used to it but this devil always make sure I had my breakfast plate empty daily. So now I started to like having breakfast too as I like how much he cares.
After everyone had their breakfast Mumma said to me "Aarohi, Will you come to my room? I have something to give you."
I replied "Of course mumma, I will come in a few minutes."
I ran to the main door and stopped Vayansh and said "You forgot something."
He raised his eyebrow and I chuckled and grabbed onto his shirt to bend him down to my level and placed a kiss on his cheek and I feel his body to freeze under my touch.
I mumbled "You can go now." and as I was about to run he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his chest.
He smirked and whispered on my lips "I would prefer it more on my lips."
I was breathing heavily as his lips were so close to mine. We were about to kiss when someone interrupted "We should go- Oh! I am Sorry! I am not looking. Please continue."
I abruptly pulled away from him and Vayansh closed his eyes in frustration and asked "Couldn't you come after a few minutes?"
I blushed and hit his chest for saying something like this.
This man have no shame!
I looked at Advik who had his back to us so I said "You can turn, Advik. I... was just.... adjusting his collar. Oh! mumma called me I should go now."
'It's so embarrassing' I thought and quickly moved towards Mumma's room.
As I reached her room, I saw mumma taking a few boxes of jewellery out and papa was helping her.
I knocked and mumma quickly called me inside and said "Aarohi, I have a few things for you."
Before I could even think about anything she took me to the bed and showed me many boxes of jewellery.
As every box was open as if showcased to be viewed I looked at the necklaces, bangles and even payal. Every jewellery was too beautiful for me to touch.
Mumma suddenly said "This is all yours now."
My eyes widened as I looked at her and quickly said "No.. No mumma. I can't take all of this. This is yours and I can't even handle these many precious things."
Papa walked to us and said "Aarohi, these jewellery belongs to you. These are the jewelleries meant for Vayansh's wife. The wedding was so sudden that we couldn't prepare anything more for you but please accept these jewelleries."
I again said "Papa, these are too much. What else you could have prepared? Ok, You want to give me these so consider I took the jewelleries and now I ask you to keep them safe for me."
Papa chuckled and said "You are so smart. No wonder Vayansh choose you but Aarohi, it is our tradition so you have to took this unless you don't like these jewelleries."
I quickly shake my head and papa smiled and moved to pick a pair of golden bangles.
They had a peacock design embedded in them with beautiful colours of gems to enhance its beauty.
He gave them to mumma and mumma took my hands in her and made me wear them.
She pressed my hands and said "It is a ritual of the Rathore's that mother-in-law made her daughter-in-law wear these bangles."
I felt myself hugging her tightly so I hugged her and mumbled a 'Thank you' and papa caress my head gently.
I talked with them for a few minutes than go back to my room with the boxes.
I was looking around for a safe place to keep them as they are so precious so I put the boxes on bed and moved towards the closet to find some locker or safe space.
I went inside the closet and was looking for the space when I opened a drawer and saw a transparent glass box.
