Vayansh's POV :
She tapped the space at the head rest indicating me to sit there so I silently moved there and to my surprise she put her head on my lap and put my hand on her head making me caress her head softly.
I was still shocked when She started to say "I..... am sorry. I thought I could get away from you...."
My jaw ticked in anger as she said that but I still kept caressing her hair softly.
She continued "But.... I was wrong. When those men were.... trying to r..rape me I couldn't think about anyone else. I was constantly screaming your name in my head. I knew deep down that you would come to save me."
My anger vanished when she said that, she trusted me to save her. She thought about me first.
I continued to caress her head and exclaimed "I will always be there for you, Sweetheart."
She sighed and I again saw tears in her eyes. She mumbled "I was so scared."
As I wiped her tears she hold my hand and asked "Will you please stay with me tonight?"
I just said "Always."
Than I finally asked what I wanted to know since forever "Why are you so scared of dark, Jaan?"
For a moment she didn't say anything making me think she won't reply but she started to speak "I... I never told this to anyone.. no one knows except my parents."
I know she was vulnerable now so I said "It's ok if you don't want to tell me right now. I will wait... I will wait for you to tell me everything on your own."
She shake her head and said "I.... I was kidnapped when I was just seven years old. T..they were into child trafficking and.... wanted to sold me along... With other kids to some dealer or something."
I was shocked by what she told me, I never imagined the reason could be something like this.
She stopped than took a deep breath than continued "They.... They used to.... beat me up... and lock me in a... dark room. Even though I was not there for long as police raid the area and saved us but the incident left a deep imprint on my mind."
"Whenever I was in dark my mind automatically started to play those scenes which scares me to core." She stayed silent after that.
I will fucking kill the motherfuckers who dared hurt her so much.
I said trying to console her "You don't have to worry about anything now sweetheart, as from now on I won't let anything happen to you. I will always protect you."
She smiled at me as if she believes me. She trusts me.
Does she really trust me?
She then asked "You... are not disgusted by.... me? After... what.. happened."
I felt as if she stabbed me with her words. She said that without any expression on her face. She just smiled, a smile which didn't reached her eyes.
I immediately said "You are not disgusting, My sweet. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Don't you dare again call yourself like that. I won't tolerate any bad words about my wife."
Her eyes teared up and finally they filled with any emotions other then pain. She gets up and I took her in my arms and made her sit on my lap.
She whispered "Than prove it."
As she said that I tightened my hold on my waist. She shouldn't have any self doubt as she is a goddess meant to be worshipped and I will worship her on my knees if needed be.
I will prove her that she is wrong about herself so I did the only thing I could do right now.
I kissed her, I kissed her deeply syncing my lips with hers perfectly. I poured my devotion in that kiss. I conveyed to her that she is worthy of everything and anything.
First she didn't moved but after a moment her hands buried in my hair as she softly grabbed them.
As she tried to pull away after a few minutes I grabbed her throat with a groan and pulled her lips onto mine again. My other hand moved under her night suit and she gasped giving me the opportunity to push my tongue in her mouth.
I softly caress her naked stomach and played with the fabric of her bra at the end making her arc her back in response.
When I pulled away I softly licked her tears away and said "I suggest you to sleep, jaan otherwise I would do something you are not ready for right now."
I was breathing heavily trying to control myself and pulled my hand away from her and I heard her whimper in response which satisfied me to a great extent.
She blushed as if she couldn't believe what just happened and moved to lay down.
I think I distracted her from that incident for a while at least.
Aarohi's POV :
I smiled in myself as I remembered our kiss. It was so intense like he wanted to convey that he wants me more than anything else.
Right now he is in the bathroom after he told me he had to take care of himself after our little kiss.
Oh..ho... I don't want to think about what he meant by that.
At least I was not thinking about that event anymore instead I was thinking how my husband's body would feel around me. How would it feel to have his hands roam on my body?
Am I serious?
My husband?
I smiled and closed my eyes thinking 'Maybe I should give him a chance.'
I don't know when I slept but next I knew I was again back in that place with those disgusting men who were trying to touch me. I ran and ran and they.... They were just behind me.
No...No... They will catch me. Vayansh... Where are you? I suddenly ran into someone and when I looked up, It was Vayansh.. He was here to save me. I smiled through my tears but suddenly he started to vanish..
No..No... Vayansh...
"Aarohi"
"Jaan, I am here."
I heard his voice but he was still disappearing.
Suddenly I woke up with a jerk, sweat covering my whole body and I looked around and saw Vayansh by my side grabbing onto my hand.
He was rubbing my back and whispered "I am here, Jaan."
It was a nightmare...
He gave me a glass of water which I gulped down in one go as I felt my throat to be too dry.
He asked "Are you okay?"
I nodded and mumbled "Nightmare."
He sighed and made me lay down again then kissed my forehead and sat beside me. He said "I am here now go back to sleep. I will kill your every monster."
I looked at him and said "You should sleep too. You also need some rest."
He simply said "I am used to it. I always sleep less so it's ok for me."
I argued "Lay down."
He was confused as I grabbed his hand to make him lay down. I don't know what I am doing right now but he has done so much for me today and I can't let him be awake the whole night for me or let him sleep on a couch or something.
I closed my eyes and felt him caress my forehead and I had the best sleep of my life till now like that.

The next morning when I got downstairs everyone pampered me with so much love.
Oh God, I love this family.
I don't think they know what exactly happened but they know I was hurt when Vayansh found me.
They really treats me so well. I want to make everything right between Vayansh and his family. I don't know what has happened between them but it must be something big if they are so apart while staying under the same roof.
And I have also decided.... I will give this marriage a chance. I know what Vayansh did was not right but he hasn't done anything wrong since then. He... didn't force me in any other way.
Kashvi said "Bhabhi your one month anniversary is coming soon! Have you planned something special for you and bhai?"
She was grinning ear to ear and I really haven't thought about this..
I said "No.. Sorry, I forgot about that.."
Mumma heard what we said and came near us saying "Aarohi, It's ok. Vayansh doesn't like these types of things."
I looked at her and asked "You know Vayansh so well, mumma?"
Her smile vanished and she avoided my gaze so I again asked softly "You love him so much right?"
Her eyes teared up at that and I stood up and pressed her hands.
I asked "Why doesn't Vayansh like you, mumma? He... seems to be so apart from this family especially from his father."
She wiped her eyes quickly and just said "It's ok, Aarohi. I am not worthy of being his mother or a mother at all."
I frowned and denied her "No mumma. You are one of the best mother I have ever seen."
Her eyes lit up and she asked as if not believing me "Really?"
I nodded and Kashvi also came to hug her and said "Yes badi maa."
She also pulled me in a hug and then I decided I will make Vayansh love her as his mother. I know she can't take his mother's place but he can always make some space for her.
Chachi also came and said "So much love in the air?"
We chuckled and I said "I always thought that royal people must be full of attitude but when I met you all I got to know just how wrong I was."
Kashvi playfully said "Oh dear bhabhi, You don't know yet, these people who are so nice to you could be so arrogant to others."
Mumma playfully hit her on her head making her pout and rub her head.
Kashvi again said "Oh, I forgot to tell you guys, my first centre is finally opening soon!"
Kashvi is a fashion designer by profession, and a very famous one too. I have seen her design and believe me she is damn good at what she does.
Finally she is opening up her own boutique after so much hard work.
I excitedly said "Oh really? That's awesome Kashii!!"
Then mumma said "That's good. You both enjoy, I am going to make some special dinner for all tonight."
I immediately said "I will help you mumma."
She smiled and nodded so we both prepared dinner tonight.
I also asked mumma "What does Vayansh like to eat the most?"
She replied "He doesn't actually have a favourite. He will eat anything and never complain as he is not a picky type."
I pouted, He is really a boring person. Who doesn't have a favourite?
Still today I will finally tell him that I want to give this marriage a chance. Maybe we will work this out but if we don't then we won't see each other again and will separate..
